Dear artists, dear partners and friends of touring artists, dear funders,

In the following you will find a few event announcements and other information starting at the end of June 2023. We will also keep you informed about news and updates on our website as well as open calls for proposals that might be of interest to you.

In the course of this newsletter, we would also like to say a big thank you to our great colleague Jana Grünewald, who will be devoting her full attention to the German Dance Association from June onwards and will unfortunately no longer be working for touring artists.
For many many years, Jana was a member of the core editorial team of touring artists. Lately, she also coordinated the so-called “Mobility Info Points”: information centres in different countries who – like touring artists – aim to tackle the administrative challenges cultural workers can face when working across borders. More information about the MIPs can be found on the On The Move website.
Thank you Jana♥

We hope you enjoy reading

For cross-border transactions, it is necessary to check in which country the VAT must be paid and who must pay it. For deliveries of works, it makes a difference whether the buyer is a business/entrepreneur (B2B: Business to Business) or a private individual (B2C: Business to Consumer). Whether the shipment is to an EU country or a country outside the EU also matters.
A new sample invoice for deliveries DE > EU, B2B can be found here - along with other sample invoices.
