Many administrative regulations and procedures in areas that are important for the international work of artists and people engaged in the cultural sector, such as entry and stay, social security, customs, income tax and VAT etc., apply equally to disabled and non-disabled people. Nevertheless, disabled artists need to be aware of certain issues when working across borders, e.g. if bringing medical aids, assistants or service dogs with them or if they have specific medication needs.
